Head of School's Message
This week we have welcomed our school photographer into the Nursery to take lots of lovely photographs of our setting.

We kindly remind you that the use of mobile phones is not permitted anywhere within the nursery premises. This policy is in place to help us maintain a safe, welcoming, and focused environment for the children.

When dropping off or collecting your child, we ask that you please keep your phone put away. This not only ensures the safety and privacy of all children, but also gives you and your child valuable time to connect and share those important daily moments together.
We work hard to ensure our safeguarding procedures are robust. We request parental permissions for any photos or videos taken by the Nursery, think carefully about their storage and vet all images on social media. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us provide the best environment for our children.

Rhyme of the week
Next week's Rhyme of the week is 'Old Macdonald Had a Farm'

We will be using this rhyme to discuss all the different animals that you could find on a farm.

Language of the week

We are lucky to have a rich and diverse community with lots of different languages. Our language of the week is Polish, which is spoken by one of our class teachers Joanna, her family and other families.
Please find below links of how to say "Hello" and "Goodbye" in Polish. Please practise with your child at home.

Learning At Home

This week the children have been participating in lots of different water activities as part of Water Week.

You can practise pouring and measuring water with your child. Using the vocabulary of "full" "half full" and "empty".

Healthy Me, Healthy World
A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to our donation station.
We are now asking for a variety of clean food packaging – this could include items in home languages, unusual shapes, and bright, colourful designs.
These resources are so valuable for the children’s play and learning, helping us celebrate diversity and spark curiosity. Of course, by reusing your discarded packaging we are reinforcing out commitment to sustainability.
Success Story of the Week
The children have thoroughly immersed themselves in Water Week.

They have participated in a variety of exciting activities involving water, including flushing conkers down guttering (pictured), blowing bubbles through rackets/quoits, throwing water balloons at a target and washing the windows etc
